Cheuk is a versatile composer and multi-instrumentalist, starting out as a classically trained pianist and recorder player. Since moving to the UK, they have expanded their expertise to the violin and various wind and brass instruments, showcasing a rare breadth of technical skill. As a composer, Cheuk is known for a sensitive, evocative style that weaves Western classical traditions with Cantonese influences, aiming to create works that is enjoyed by people of all ages.

An accomplished performer, Cheuk has appeared as a piano soloist with the J26 Sinfonietta and contributes to the orchestral landscape as a violinist with the Mat Davis Orchestra and Nottingham Youth Orchestra. Also a dedicated brass player, they perform on bass trombone with the East Midlands Youth Band and has a leading role in numerous ensembles.
