If you are a minor, your parent or guardian must print and sign this consent form before your application can be accepted. This requirement ensures that we have proper permission to include you in our program and to use any related media. Applications from minors submitted without a printed out, signed consent form cannot be approved.

What level do I need to be to apply?
Applicants should be at a late intermediate to advanced level. This typically corresponds to:
ABRSM: Grades 6-8
RCM: Grades 5-10
Being at this level ensures you have the skills and experience needed to participate fully in our orchestra.
How long do applications usually take to process?
Applications are usually reviewed within about a week. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your application has been processed.
What ages can apply?
There’s no minimum age! Musicians of any age can apply, as long as they are at a late intermediate to advanced level.
Is there a fee to participate?
No! The VTSO is completely free. We want the gift of music to be a blessing for everyone.
